How do I know what you are feeling?

Because, I was once you. I was once in the very spot you are now, feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and not knowing how to be my authentic self.

I grew up being adopted, experiencing years of sexual abuse and instability, and struggling with mental health. I spent years hating myself and my body, living with eating disorders, and experiencing unworthiness.

Because, I was once you. I was once in the very spot you are now, feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and not knowing how to be my authentic self.

I grew up being adopted, experiencing years of sexual abuse and instability, and struggling with mental health. I spent years hating myself and my body, living with eating disorders, and experiencing unworthiness.




That led to an adulthood of never thinking I was never good enough, feeling disconnected from my body, using perfectionism as a coping skill, and struggling with shame, self-acceptance, and self-love.
 
But, that is not who I am today.

I have worked as a mental health clinician for over a decade utilizing: 

cognitive-behavioural therapy,
dialectical behavioural therapy,
psychodramatic body work,
cognitive processing therapy, and 
motivational interviewing. 

I have also worked with:

intuitive eating,
inner child work,
mindfulness, and 
acceptance and commitment therapy. 

I continue to share my passion for mental health now as a professor in a mental health graduate program.

Through my life experience and formal training, I found my calling to work with women and help them find their purpose and self-worth.

Every week, after our coaching call, you will receive actionable weekly exercises to ensure you gain confidence in applying the strategies we cover to heal your relationship with self and body.
